At Fifth Avenue Dance Studio, we offer three types of instruction...private lessons, group classes, and practice parties. We have found the most beneficial and complete way to learn is to use a combination of all three types of instruction.

Private lessons are the most valuable type of instruction. They are one on one with an instructor which means we can put special attention to technique, styling, polish, and areas needing correction. They are available on an appointment basis Monday-Friday 3-10pm allowing for flexible scheduling.

Group classes consist of one instructor and up to ten students. Group classes are held Monday-Friday at 7pm or 8pm depending on the night of the week. They are divided into levels and are very important for learning patterns. They offer a variety of partners and a variety of teachers and are excellent for developing leading and following abilities. Group classes are a good way to help you become a well rounded dancer.

Practice parties are held every Friday 9-10pm and are an excellent opportunity to practice dancing in a supervised setting. They are a great tool for developing social dance abilities on crowded floors. They provide a variety of partners and a variety of dances, are good practical experience and fun!

Beginner Special

Perfect for those new to the world of dance. This package is an introduction to the beginning basics of ballroom, latin/salsa, and swing dancing. It includes 5-30min. Private Lessons,  2-55min. Group Classes, & 3-Practice Parties. Private lessons are available by appointment Monday-Friday 3-10pm. Group classes are held Monday, Tuesday, & Friday at 8pm and Wednesday & Thursday at 7pm. Practice parties are held Fridays at 9pm.

 
Brush Up Lessons

Dust off and update rusty dance skills. Included:    5-55min. Private Lessons,  2-55min. Group Classes, &  2-Practice Parties. Private lessons are available by appointment Monday-Friday 
3-10pm. Practice parties are held Fridays at 9pm.                                                                                                             

 Wedding Package

Make your special day a memorable one with a bride and groom first dance or a father/daughter dance. Your dance of choice.  This package includes:   5-55min. Private Lessons, 2-55min. Group Classes, & 1-Practice Party. Private lessons are available by appointment Monday-Friday 3-10pm. Practice parties are held Fridays at 9pm.                                                                                                         

 Wedding Party Package

Bring your wedding party to learn to dance for your special day. This series course covers the basics for your family and friends to kick their heels up at your wedding. This package includes:     5-55min. Group Classes, & 1-Practice Party. These group classes are available by appointment Monday-Friday 3-10pm. Practice parties are held Fridays at 9pm.          **Note: 4 person minimum with this package.

 
Semi-Private Package

Share the joy of learning to dance with your friends, co-workers, team members, etc.   This series course held for you and your friends exclusively consists of the following: 4-55 min. Group Classes, & 2-Practice Parties. These group classes are available by appointment Monday-Friday 3-10pm. Practice parties are held Fridays at 9pm.          **Note: 4 person minimum with this package.


Practice Time

Practice makes perfect. Students taking lessons at Fifth Avenue Dance Studio may enroll in Practice Time and have available to them unlimited practice hours during normal studio hours (Monday-Friday 3-10pm) with exception to during parties, holidays, and special events. Practice time is available on a monthly basis only.
